Math - Strategies for Developing Mental Math Skills

There are two strategies the class learned about for helping them group numbers to make addition easier.

First, the “Hover Car Method” they worked on involves the students figuring out how much faster the Hover Car needs to go to get to 100.

The “Ones and Tens Method” the class learned about involves splitting the part they are given into tens and ones and trying to make 100 from there.
